Bible Journaling - Isaiah 25:4

For many years we were in a drought and I really got used to it not raining. This year, it seems to rain all the time. It's really weird. To top it off, I have a dog who is afraid of thunder and storms. I feel so bad for her because she gets scared so much more often now.

This afternoon I was listening to the storms roll in and seeing the sky get dark and realizing that I would once again have a scared little buddy. I thought about how God protects us and keeps us safe. He is our shelter in the storms of life. Isaiah 25:4 says, "You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm, and a shade from the heat."
