Oops! It's been 3 months

Wow!  I knew it had been awhile since I blogged but, I didn't realize it had been over 3 months.  Life just got busy and crazy and I sorta forgot to write.  I've always been this way.  When I was little I had a diary that had each day of the year marked for my comments and by the end of the year, I only had a few pages here and there filled out.  The next year, I asked for a diary where I could write my own date.  And, I think that one lasted throughout the remainder of my childhood.

Of course, when life is busy is when I really should write.  That way I can remember all the many things that kept life busy and exciting.

Well, if you're actually reading this blog, you probably already know and love me and understand.  I could promise to be better and write all the time but since I don't want to lie, I won't make that promise.  Until the next time, "Be excellent to each other and party on dude!"  (Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure)

  1. What you need to do is set up some posts for future dates. I love that feature. You write your post and under posting options (button on bottom left) pick "scheduled" and set a future date. You can also save to draft and flesh out later on.

Party Decorations (Eagle Court of Honor) on the Cheap

These will be centerpieces on the tables at my Son's Eagle Court of Honor *Update:  See how I re-used these same cans for a patriotic luncheon.   The other night I was surfing around on the t.v. and ended up watching "Extreme Cheapskates."  I found myself thinking, "Ohhh... what amateurs!"  But, I couldn't tell anyone.  I mean I didn't want anyone to know how "cheap" I actually am. I really think they set some people up on that show.  I mean seriously?!?  You share a toothbrush to save money?  Buy 2 toothbrushes and each will last twice as long, same with the deodorant.  Yuck! Anyway, there was this lady only wanting to spend $50 on her 10 year old son's birthday.  Since I'm always looking for inexpensive ways to celebrate, I kept watching.  What?!?!  She had his birthday party at a retirement home for $30?!?!  What about having it at your house or the park for free, hello people?  Instead of the Elvis...
